Ferzana Elahi-Yousef’s journey in the beauty industry was born out of her childhood interests in painting, sketching and drawing. It is this very deep rooted passion in the creative arts that has helped mould her into the professional she is today – a freelance make up artist with a passion to customize and optomize one’s outer appearance. Despite enjoying loud and bold colours in her wardrobe choice, her vision of beauty is soft, subtle and natural.Over the past ten years, she has worked as a make-up artist at many cosmetic companies, including Faces Cosmetics, Caryl Baker Visage, Clinique, Estée Lauder, Smashbox Cosmetics, and Lancôme.
“The breadth of my experience in the beauty industry has provided me the knowledge, expertise and confidence to launch my very own business.”
She also holds a diploma in the field of Esthetics from Sheridan College and has worked at some of the most most prestigious spas across the GTA. These include Hammam Spa (downtown Toronto), Silvery Blue Butterfly Spa (Oakville), and Sherwood Village Spa (Mississauga).
Most recently, she acquired training from Glow Academy for bridal hair styling, updo and blow dry, allowing her to provide her clients with a “one stop shop” for their beauty services needs.
For our glam session, Ferzana went for a fun, flirty, daytime look with a touch of smokey, cat eye effect, inspired by celebrity make up artist, Make Up By Lilit.
