My Toronto Fashion Week Lookbook

Last week marked the unveiling of the Fall/Winter 2016 collection of Canadian designers at Toronto Fashion Week. Check out my looks from Day 1 to Day 5 below. What’s your favourite look? Comment below!

DAY 1

This outfit actually came to me last minute as I scoured through my closet trying to find something to wear. When I first bought this skirt, I didn’t know if I’d get any wear out of it, but now, it’s always the star of any outfit.

DAY 2

My feet needed a much needed break and I’m kind of obssesed with my Tims at the moment. So I decided to go with a more playful, casual look.

DAY 3

I took a bit of a fashion risk on Day 3, but I think that’s half the fun with Fashion Week. I find inspiration from a lot of places and generally just put random things together. I like to visualize an outfit and just go with it.

DAY 4

Every year, I reward myself with an egregious purchase using the proceeds of my year end bonus – usually in the form of shoes or a purse. This year, I decided to go with Stuart Weitzman’s Highstreets in grey and I’m so glad I did. They’re so versatile and really make a statement. I thought I’d switch it up by pairing it with a grunge white denim dress and braids.

DAY 5

After a long week, I wanted something laid back.  I let out my braids and let the natural wave set in and added some texturizing spray to make the waves hold. I added a bit of flair by letting my decolletage do the talking.

Coat – Michael Kors

Dress – Asos

Sunglasses – Tom Ford

Purse – Marc Jacobs
